Spring/summerBetween May and September, Cortina d'Ampezzo becomes a natural outdoor gym, with a wide variety of hike, bike, via ferrata and climbing itineraries, as well as golf and tennis. There are a wealth of activities suitable for families with children, both on the mountain and in town. The refuges at altitude offer spectacular views of the Dolomite peaks and wonderful local cuisine.
Autumn In September and October the Dolomites are shrouded in all the wonderful shades of autumn colour, as nature reveals itself in all its splendour throughout forests, alpine lakes and streams. In the Natural Park of the Ampezzo Dolomites, with all its natural beauty of alpine flora and fauna, autumn is the ideal period for hiking and biking, keeping fit with nordic walking and spotting deers, mountain goats and marmots.
